Wesleyan Bus Service

This fall we launched a morning shuttle to Brookhaven in order to better serve families in that area, as well as to test our ability to provide a reliable and efficient transportation solution for families.
The Brookhaven experiment worked as we were able to draw several new families to our school as well as serve several existing families for whom transportation had become an increasingly difficult issue.

Our sincere hope is that by offering a bus service with additional routes to current and prospective families, we will be taking one more step to partner with parents in an effort to make your life less complicated.

It is our intent to offer a bus service to the following locations in the 2016-2017 school year:

Suwanee | Duluth

Projected pick-up locations at the intersection of Peachtree Industrial and McGinnis Ferry Road and at Buford Highway and Old Peachtree Road.

Johns Creek

Projected pick-up locations at 141 and McGinnis Ferry Road and at 141 and just north of State Bridge Road.

Roswell

Projected pick-up locations at Old Alabama Road and Holcomb Bridge Road and at Barnwell Road and Holcomb Bridge Road.

Dunwoody

Projected pick-up locations at Mt. Vernon Road and Chamblee-Dunwoody Road and at Mt. Vernon Road and Dunwoody Club Drive.

Sandy Springs | Brookhaven

Projected pick-up locations at the Capital City Club and at Roswell Road and Wieuca Road.

Decatur | Stone Mountain

Projected pick-up location at Memorial Drive and I-285.
Note — If you sign up for a route that looks like it will not make because of lack of demand, we will inform you of that possibility as soon as we can. However, it is our goal to meet the requests of all families.

Please note the following details about the intended service:

This will be a morning bus service only.
We will use Wesleyan mini-buses.
Drivers will be vetted and hired by the school.
The cost will be $500 per child per semester.
The cost will be payable on the tuition payment dates of July 1 and November 1; you will be billed by the business office. Financial aid is not available for the bus service expenses.

The routes and pick-up locations listed above are based on our research; however, demand will ultimately drive our final decisions on the routes we add and the specific pick-up locations.
