The Wesleyan football program received the Sports Medicine South Beyond Better Award for outstanding leadership and character at the Touchdown Club of Gwinnett annual banquet on Monday night. The award is given to a program that goes beyond the call of duty to demonstrate humility and strong character through good works in addition to excellence on the field. Congratulations to the following individuals who received awards: Harrison Cook (All-County 2nd Team), Sam Gottlich (Ken Maloof Award - Team Before Self), Grant Frerking (Scholar Athlete), Stanley Davenport (Tally Johnson Award - Assistant Coach of the Year), and Susan Frerking (Dave Hunter Award - Community Service).
